OBG & Paediatrics Lab
An OBG and Pediatrics lab is a specialized learning environment within nursing and medical education, focusing on the care of women during pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum, and the health of children. These labs are equipped with simulators, manikins, and various medical equipment to provide hands-on training in maternal and child healthcare.
Nursing Foundation Lab
A Fundamental Nursing Lab is a dedicated space within nursing schools designed to provide hands-on training and practice for basic nursing skills and procedures, often using manikins and simulated hospital environments. These labs equip students with the knowledge and practical experience necessary to deliver effective and safe patient care, bridging the gap between theoretical learning and real-world application.

An advanced skills lab in nursing is a dedicated facility equipped with resources for students to practice and refine essential nursing skills, particularly those requiring specialized techniques or advanced equipment. These labs often incorporate high-fidelity manikins, simulation technology, and specialized equipment to create realistic clinical scenarios, allowing students to gain confidence and competence before working with actual patients.
Library
The Library in Kalpana Institute of Nursing is having adequate number of books for students and lectures referral. Also we have plenty of journals for students’ reference. Which help them to enhance their Knowledge in various areas of health care profession. Our library is managed by a qualified full time available librarian to guide students in various aspects.
Community Health Nursing & Nutrition Lab
A Community Health Nursing and Nutrition Lab provides a simulated environment for nursing students to practice skills in providing comprehensive care to individuals, families, and communities. It focuses on developing knowledge, attitudes, and practical skills related to community health nursing and nutrition, including home visiting, health education, and community health program implementation.
Transport
The student are privileged to have transport facilities which enable them to reach all the areas of clinical exposures. The faculty also have pickup drop facilities between the institute and hostel.
